Wales considers its own legislation for producers – Farmers Guardian
WELSH Government Agriculture Minister, Alun Davies, has repeated his commitment to ensuring “a prosperous and sustainable future” for milk producers in Wales — to the extent of going it alone on the introduction of unilateral legislation.
“I recognise that the sector needs both to resolve the immediate issues around the price paid for milk, but at the same time put in place structures and mechanisms that will help underpin its long-term viability,” he said…..
