West Wales Food Festival The tops chefs in Wales and the best produce in the west – just some of the highlights at this year’s festival which bears the strapline: “Growing the Future”. Alongside such star names from the culinary world as Bryn Williams and Stephen Terry, there will be a young chefs’ cookery competition; a wild food foray with Fine Pluck; set-piece debates on the big food topics of the moment; a Grow Your Own workshop and an exhibition of pinnies.

Rhiwbina Market whilst it has room to grow remains buoyant and that is thanks to the regular custom of local people and visitors. This development allows genuine regular access to local farmers, growers and producers without the need to remember which ‘week’ it is.
