Food Festivals in Wales

We’re delighted to give small Welsh producers an opportunity to promote their excellent food and drink products to Swansea locals and Bank Holiday visitors,”

Cardigan’s River & Food Festival takes place on Saturday 11 & Sunday 12 August 2012. The festival will be held at Cardigan’s Quay Street car park, next to the River Teifi. The festival attracts around 8,000 visitors, with more than 70 food, drink and crafts exhibitors.

Over the years, the Cardigan Bay Seafood Festival has grown to be one of the highlights of the food calendar in Wales and several thousand people are expected to flock to the quayside this summer to see and taste the best of local seafood, fish and other produce.

The Welsh Perry and Cider Festival, which was held at Blaengawney Farm, Hafodyrynys over the Jubilee bank holiday weekend and organised by the Welsh Perry and Cider Society, saw over 1000 visitors sample and purchase over 3500 pints of cider and perry.

Beer lovers from all over Wales and Britain have been flocking to Cardiff for the annual Great Welsh Beer and Cider Festival. Up to 6500 enthusiasts are expected to visit the capital’s Motorpoint Arena to sample up to 200 …

The Clytha Arms will be providing the catering, with wide selections of Welsh cheeses, pies etc and their own pub menu. There will also be a village fete area with tradestands and attractions to occupy young and old alike.

West Wales Food Festival The tops chefs in Wales and the best produce in the west – just some of the highlights at this year’s festival which bears the strapline: “Growing the Future”.
